Laboratory Facilities
Students receive supervised training in:

Nursing foundation Lab

  Basic nursing procedures, patient care technique, vital sign monitoring, infection prevention practices.

Community Health Nursing Lab:

·         Family health care, home visit technique, immunization procedures, health education methods.

Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Lab:

·         Antenatal care, postnatal care, newborn care, growth monitoring, counselling technique.

Nutrition & Health Education Lab:

 

·         Nutritional assessment, diet planning, communication skills etc.

Advanced Skill lab:

 

Students acquire proficiency in:

·         Maternal and new born care

·         Basic nursing procedures

·         Health assessment skills

·         Complication management skills

Clinical Training Experience:

Clinical training provides students with real-life exposure to patient care under the guidance of qualified nursing tutors and health care professionals. Students are exposed to DHH, CHC, PHC, Sub-Centre, Urban & Rural Community settings.

During clinical posting, students learn:

·         Patient care and bed side nursing

·         MCH Services

·         Immunization & National Health Programmes

·         Community health services

·         Health education & counselling

·         Record keeping & reporting
